4. If your torque converter only has 6 threaded hole locations then you only
need 6 of the 12 holes.
5. With the transmission reinstalled, thread the first torque converter bolt
through the oval shaped hole, Figure 2. This hole will line up the rest of
the torque converter bolts and will make installation easier.

6. Install the remaining 5 or 11 bolts into the torque converter. Once all the
bolts are threaded in, torque them to 35 ft-lbs.
7. Reinstall the access hole cover plate.
